My name is Mrs. Kelly VanderHoek, and I teach Senior English and Young Adult Literature at CHS. In addition, I am the Senior Class Advisor and Diversity Club Co-Chair. I earned my English degree at Michigan State University, teaching credentials from Hope College, and completed graduate-level coursework in Educational Leadership at Grand Valley State University. I enjoy reading, knitting, teaching religious education, and singing in my church choir. I live in Spring Lake with my husband, Andy, and our children, Jake (10) and Elly (6). I have been teaching in Coopersville Area Public Schools for fourteen years, and I absolutely love it!
