My  name is Joe Oosterheert, and I have been teaching special education since 2004. I received my undergraduate from Hope College and have recently completed my master’s degree from Grand Valley State. I have taught many subjects for grades 6^th-12^th in my years at Coopersville, and I have also coached middle school basketball. On a personal note, I am married to Lea who is a 2^nd grade teacher at Calvin Christian Elementary School. We enjoy spending time with family, playing sports, and long summers off together. I also spend my spare time coaching football, hunting, being outdoors, and watching any sporting event I can find on TV.
