I have worked for Coopersville Area Public Schools since 1998. My position is primarily to provide evaluation and counseling services for students who receive special education services. I attended Calvin College and received my Bachelor of Social Work degree. I then worked for five years as a Youth and Family Specialist at Wedgwood Christian Services in Grand Rapids. After receiving my Master of Social Work from Western Michigan University, I began my career with CAPS. I very much enjoy my career, and am honored to be able to work with the middle school and high school students in Coopersville. In addition, I am married to my husband, Steve, and love spending time with my young daughter, Abigail. I enjoy reading, gardening, nature, volunteering at my church, and spending time with friends and family.
