I began my teaching career at Coopersville Schools after graduating from Grand Valley State University.  I have been a teacher here for six years.  In addition to teaching 5th grade, I also work as an Elementary Math Coach.  Originally from St. Johns, I live in Allendale with my husband, Scott, who is a statistics professor at Grand Valley.  In my spare time, I enjoy running, gardening, golfing, rollerblading, traveling throughout the United States and reading mysteries.
