The Coopersville High School Band is directed by Scott Struyk and assisted by Luanne DeVries. Coopersville Bands have enjoyed a long tradition of "excellence" over the years. The bands have consistently done well at the District and State Band Festivals each year. Coopersville has also performed and competed on the national level over the years. The Jazz Band and Concert Bands have performed at the following national festivals.

(Concert Band, Jazz Band & Show Choir received the "Sweep Stakes" Award for the highest combined averages for schools with 3 or more groups. This was the grand prize of the festival!)

(Concert Band, Gold Award for Superior Musical Performance & Adjudicator Award for having all scores higher than 92 from 3 judges.
High school students can participate in Marching Band, Concert Band, and Pep Band. Students may also audition for the CHS Jazz Band.
