Firearm Safety Information for Families
Beginning October 1, 2025, Michigan law requires schools to provide every parent or guardian with information on safely storing firearms at home. The guide, developed by the Department of Health and Human Services, includes best practices to help prevent unintentional injuries. Our district, along with the ISD, will ensure this information is distributed to all families each October.
