Coopersville High School provides a rigorous academic program aligned with the Michigan Merit Curriculum and local graduation requirements. Students complete 26 credits across pathways that prepare them for college, careers, and life after high school.

Careerline Tech Center
Careerline Tech Center is a service of the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District that offers Coopersville High School students hands-on career and technical education opportunities while earning high school credit.
Manufacturing Engineering Partnership Program
Coopersville High School’s one-of-a-kind engineering and manufacturing program that gives students hands-on experience and direct connections to West Michigan industry careers.
Fine Arts & Performing Arts
Students can explore visual arts, band, choir, theatre, and media arts while earning Visual, Performing & Applied Arts (VPAA) credit. These programs support creativity, collaboration, and technical skill development.
Testing & Assessments
Students participate in state-required assessments, local readiness benchmarks, and SAT preparation opportunities. CHS also offers a Test-Out option for students to demonstrate mastery of specific courses as outlined in the Michigan Merit Curriculum.
Online Learning
Coopersville High School offers approved online courses through Michigan Virtual (MVU) for students who want flexible options or access to classes not available on campus. All courses must align with the Michigan Merit Curriculum.

Migrant Education Program
The Migrant Education Program is designed to support high-quality comprehensive educational programs for migrant children to help reduce the educational disruptions and other problems that result from repeated moves.
The program provides educational and support services to migrant children and youth. Children are eligible if their families have moved within the previous 36 months to obtain temporary or seasonal work in the agriculture or fishing industry.
Priority is given to children who are not achieving core academic curriculum standards and whose education has been interrupted during the regular school year. The program also supports identification and recruitment activities.
