Enrollment & Registration
New Student Enrollment
Students who are new to Coopersville Area Public Schools—including incoming 9th graders from other districts—begin by completing the district’s online enrollment process. This is where families submit required forms, residency documentation, and student information.
Once district enrollment is complete, Coopersville High School will work with students and families on course selection and scheduling.
Registration: Choosing Classes at CHS
Each year, CHS students register for classes and update their four-year plan with support from school counselors. Course registration is closely connected to each student’s Educational Development Plan (EDP).
Every student completes an EDP unit in their English class each year. These lessons help students:
- Understand graduation requirements and available elective options.
- Explore career interests and postsecondary pathways.
- Make informed decisions about next year’s classes.
More detailed information about EDPs, four-year planning, and college and career exploration is available on the College & Career Readiness page.
Staying Informed
Information about enrollment, registration, and course planning is shared with students and families through:
- The high school Daily Bulletin.
- Weekly parent emails from the principal.
Families are encouraged to review these materials together and reach out with questions.
