Attendance, Behavior & Health
Coopersville High School uses a Code of Conduct to support a safe, respectful learning environment. Students are expected to follow school rules and demonstrate behavior that supports learning for all.

- Follow classroom and school rules, including technology and device expectations.
- Use school-appropriate language and behavior.
- Be honest in academic work.
- Report safety concerns to a trusted adult.

Attendance
Regular, on-time attendance is essential for student success. Students are expected to be in school each day unless they are ill or have an excused absence under district policy.
Reporting an Absence
To report an absence, please call the CHS Attendance Office as soon as possible on the day of the absence.

What Parents Should Know
- Report absences early in the day.
- Provide required documentation (such as medical notes) when requested.
- Students are responsible for making up missed work according to teacher guidelines.
- Extended or pre-arranged absences may require advance approval and a form.
