Enroll Your Future Bronco
Welcome to West Early Childhood Center (WECC)! Families join us at many different stages—Preschool, Young Fives, Kindergarten, and First Grade. Use the options below to find the enrollment information that fits your child’s next step.
3-Year-Old Preschool
Eligibility
Children must turn 3 on or before September 1.
Children turning 3 between September 2 and December 1 may enroll with parent notification, per district guidelines. We’re here to help you determine the best starting point.
Step 1: Complete CAPS Online Registration
Begin with the district’s online registration form. This creates your child’s official school record and allows you to upload required documents.
You’ll Need:
- Proof of Residency (utility bill, lease, or mortgage) if you live in district, or SOC/Non-Resident paperwork if you live out of district.
- Certified County Birth Certificate— available through your county clerk:
- Up-to-Date Immunization Record or Valid Waiver(choose the appropriate resource):
- Health Appraisal completed by a physician.
Online uploads are preferred. If you’re unable to upload, you may bring physical copies to the Administration Office or email them securely to the District Registrar.
Step 2: Complete MiECC Registration
All preschool families also complete the MiECC form. This state-required step helps ensure your child is placed in the correct preschool program and that all early childhood requirements are met.
Additional Notes
If your child is already enrolled in Coopersville’s 3-Year-Old Preschool, their enrollment will automatically roll into the 4-Year-Old program for the next school year. You will only be asked to update documents as needed.
