Preschool, Young 5’s & Kindergarten Round-Up
Starting school is a big milestone for children and families. Let’s take the next step together.
Families beginning to explore Preschool, Young 5’s, or Kindergarten are invited to Round-Up Night at West Early Childhood Center. This evening gives families the opportunity to step inside the school, meet staff, and learn what early learning looks like at WECC—along with what to expect as you prepare for enrollment.

What to Expect at Round-Up
To best meet families where they are, this evening offers two different formats based on the program(s) you’re interested in. Choose a program below to learn more about what to expect.
Preschool (3- and 4-Year-Old Programs)
Families interested in Preschool are invited to enjoy an open house–style experience. You’ll be able to move through the building at your own pace while:
- Visiting preschool classrooms
- Meeting Preschool staff
- Seeing how learning through play supports early growth
Young 5’s & Kindergarten
Families interested in Young 5’s or Kindergarten will take part in a parent information meeting. During this session, staff will walk through:
- What the school year looks like
- Developmental expectations
- How placement decisions are considered
- Next steps for enrollment
