School of Choice (For Families Outside CAPS)
School of Choice
Our School of Choice application window is currently closed for the 2025–26 school year.
We invite families to please check back on February 1, 2026, when the next application window will open. Applications will be accepted through August 14, 2026.
School of Choice offers families additional enrollment options when space is available, including the opportunity for students to attend a school outside of their resident district.
Each year, Coopersville Area Public Schools thoughtfully determines School of Choice participation details, including application timelines, available seats, and which grades or buildings may be included.
Transportation: Families attending through School of Choice provide their own transportation.
Kindergarten & Young Fives

- Certified Birth Certificate
A certified birth certificate is required for enrollment. Birth certificates are obtained through the county clerk’s office in the county where the child was born (not necessarily the county where you currently live). Not sure which county issued the birth certificate?
