A look at the work Bronco artists are creating across CAPS, from classroom projects to pieces featured in exhibits across West Michigan.
CAPS Community Art Walk
Join us on Thursday, May 7 for the CAPS Community Art Walk and experience student artwork from across all five schools in one evening.
From our youngest Broncos to our high school artists, this district-wide showcase highlights creativity at every level. Families are welcome to visit one location or make their way through each stop throughout the night.
Event Schedule
West Elementary (Grades Y5–2): 4:00–5:30 PM
South Elementary (Grades 3–5, Cafeteria/Media Center): 4:00–5:30 PM
Coopersville Middle School (Grades 6–8): 5:00–6:30 PM
Coopersville High School: 6:00–8:00 PM

Explore the Program
Middle School
Middle School Art classes are offered as elective courses to all sixth through eighth grade grade students. The students experience a diverse curriculum with a focus on collaboration and projects which explore visual art in a fun and engaging way.
Elementary
Every student in Kindergarten through fifth grade participates in Art once a week. Students develop skills and creativity in a safe and caring atmosphere, experiencing a rich curriculum with a variety of projects and opportunities to develop a love of Art.
High School
Coopersville High School offers an extensive and diverse Art program suitable for all skill and ability levels. The course offerings have expanded to meet the demand and interest of our students. These include:
- Basic Art
- Drawing and Painting
- Ceramics
- Graphic Design
- Sculpture
- Printmaking
- Senior Portfolio
- KCAD -dual enrollment courses
The Art Department also participants in several art events and exhibits during the year including:
