CHS Back-to-School Information
Welcome to the 2026–27 school year! Below you'll find everything you need to prepare for the first day of school, including orientation, Chromebook pick-up, important dates, and more.
New Student Orientation Night
Tuesday, August 18
6:00–8:00 PM
This event is for students in any grade level who are new to Coopersville High School for the 2026–27 school year and their families. Returning CHS students should attend their scheduled Chromebook & ID Pick-Up instead.
Students will:
- Pick up their Chromebook, school ID, and locker assignment
- Have their school picture taken
- Tour the building and locate classrooms
Parents and guardians are invited to attend a welcome presentation and Q&A in the CHS Centerstage Theatre during the event.
Chromebook, Locker & ID Pick-Up
Before the first day of school, students will pick up their Chromebook, receive their school ID, and get their locker assignment. Please attend the session that corresponds with your grade level.
Class of 2027 (Seniors)
Tuesday, August 18
- 9:30–11:30 AM
- 1:00–3:00 PM
Senior parents will also have treats and helpful information available during the event.
Classes of 2028, 2029 & 2030 (Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors)
Wednesday, August 19
- 8:30–11:30 AM
- 1:00–3:00 PM
Thursday, August 20
- 8:30–11:30 AM
- 1:00–3:00 PM
Students in the Classes of 2028, 2029, and 2030 may attend either Wednesday or Thursday.
