Coopersville Area Public Schools has been recognized with the Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) Award from the NAMM Foundation, a national honor celebrating the district’s commitment to high-quality music education.
In 2026, just 21 districts in Michigan received this recognition—placing CAPS among the top 4% statewide.
The designation reflects a comprehensive K–12 effort, supported by dedicated educators, strong student participation, and a community that values and invests in the arts. From early classrooms to high school stages, music remains a key part of the CAPS experience.
This recognition highlights what makes Coopersville stand out: consistent support, strong programming, and a community-wide commitment to the arts.
